I am not posting this to have 7 people who are active on this forum arguing with each other about what is real and what is not. Just curious about what everyones view is. Personally I am more of an Athiest when it comes to Christianity. I dont believe anything that the religions states. Thats just me though. I know this is hard to wrap your mind but I beleive everyone is correct in their own mind. I beleive that the spirt of the person continues on after the body is gone, and what happens to that spirt is whatever that person believed as a human. Personally I beleive there is no heaven or hell, just diffrent planes of exsistance with diffrent things in it. I hope that when I die I am sitting at the corner or Party-it-up and South-Central waiting for d.j. with a 12 pack of budlight and a pack of smokes. Hopefully he isnt to far behind me.

Oh, hopefully I won't be to far behind you, this life sucks as it is. But anyway, I'm sure most of you already know my religious beliefs, being a Green Wiccan. But, I take all the stuff I like, or believe, and use it. But alter a few things within it, for instance, upon death, there are two things that can happen. Either you get stuck on this plane, in another being; or end up going to the great beyond with the possibility of reincarnation. Although my beliefs in reincarnation may not be to the standards of most, not thinking that we will just have another human form, but perhaps an animal, bug, or even something of a different plane. But, alot of this is my views.

well me personally, i call my self a christion. as i say this keep in mind that i also hold beliefs that also corispond with views shaired with other riligions. a couple of things for example include the fact that i have a sperit guide which corosponds well with most native amarican beliefs. i also can sence sperits and persons ora which match up with say the pagon and wiccan beliefs. some may through the bull shit flag when ever i mention things like this and in all honesty im fine with it. just because the blind cant see dosnt mean there isnt light. because the deff cant hear dosnt mean there isnt sound. i believe these things to be true because of the things i have experenced in my travels.
im not 100% on what happens after death but i have an idea and you can bet your asses that ill be tracking down every one of you after my time has passed. you can bet i will fight so the danger-crew will reunite on the other side. it just wouldnt be the same otherwise

I have split personalites when it comes to religion.
I find that most religions are simply a creation of whom-ever was in power at the time to subjugate it's constituants, and explain the phenomena prevalent to that era.
On the other hand, look at the vast amount of creatures possible on earth, and that is one planet. There are an estimated 250 billion (2.5 x 10^11) stars in the Milky Way and 70 sextillion (7 x 10^22) in the visible universe, out of all of those you would have to have life, and what's to stop that life from forming to such an advanced level that it appears all powerful, or a creature that exists in 4 dimensions rather than our 3 would appear to be able to perform god like tasks. Clarke's third law is that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic, and magic is indistinguishable from divinity.
On the other other hand, there very well could be a divine being. Though, if this is actually a god, then why would it create imperfect beings? If it's an experiment, because of boredom, or just to be worshiped, then all of these show a decidedly human response at least to the point of where it would lend more credence to the divine being a creature rather than an actual god. Although, that brings up a whole seperate question of what actually constitutes a god. If it's simply a "immortal all-powerful" being, then all of that can be explained through advanced technology or just a alteration in how it exists in the universe. Thus, pointing back to my earlier argument.

I personally am a neopagan. and odinist...asytru for all who may know what that is. since i am a warrior by life style and profession i believe that i will die as a warrior and go to the great hall of valhalla. were i will drink and celebrate with my ancestors until ragnorok comes. or as everyone else knows it the end of the world...armageddon...etc etc
but really truth is in the eye of the beholder...thats why there are various religions and systems of education and versions of history...

I believe everything is based around one religion. Everything is right in someway and we will find out the truth when it ends. Plus ghosts and spirits are real too me too, just not interested in solving why or how.
